What is My Account?

We've made it easy for you to view and update your account and orders any time through "My Account" after you sign in to your account. With "My Account" on Kasturi-b you can

  • Manage/edit all your personal data like address, phone numbers, email ids
  • Change your password
  • Track the status of your orders
  • See your Wishlist

How do I know my order has been confirmed?

Once your payment has been successfully made, your order is processed*(provide link to processing head below) immediately. Kasturi-b will send a confirmation mail for your order, to the email address associated with your Kasturi-b account. In this mail you will be provided with a unique Order ID for your reference with our customer service team, a listing of the item/s you have ordered and an expected time of delivery. In case of Cash on delivery orders, you will receive a confirmation email/sms from our Kasturi-b team in which you will need to verify that you have placed a COD**(provide link to COD below) order with us.

Gift Voucher & Discount coupons

What is a Gift voucher ?

A gift voucher is pre-paid card which you can buy and gift to a friend/family member. This voucher is as good as money and can be used to buy any Kasturi-b product.

What is a discount coupon ?

A discount coupon are issued to loyal customers or general customer base during any marketing schemes. These coupons provide certain percentage of discount (like 5%, 8%, 10%) to the customer on the entire amount of purchase. These can be used as per the Term & Conditions given on the coupon. For further clarifications, please contact our customer care number.

How do I buy/gift a Gift Voucher?
  • Enter the name and email address of the person you want to send the Gift Voucher.
  • Enter the value of the voucher you would like to purchase then click "Proceed To Pay".
  • The sidebar will now show the payment options. You can pay by Credit Card / Debit Card / ATM Card / Netbanking. Proceed to pay through your preferred choice, or if you need to make any changes to the value, you can always click "Edit" to modify it. Once you have completed the checkout process, you will receive an email with the GV details.
How do I buy/gift a discount coupon?

Discount coupons are issued by the company as a part of promotional offers or loyalty schemes. You cannot buy discount coupons.

How do I make a purchase with a Gift Voucher?
  • Go to www.kasturi-b.com and select the items you want to purchase.
  • When you are ready to checkout, click "Proceed To Pay", the same as our regular checkout.
  • Select the "Pay By Gift Voucher" Option.
  • Enter your X-digit Voucher Number and the corresponding Y-digit PIN number when prompted.
  • If the amount of your Gift Voucher doesn't cover your order total, you will be prompted to select an additional payment method.
Does a Gift Voucher expire?

Yes. All Gift Vouchers expire 1 year from the date of their issue or as mentioned on the voucher.

Do discount coupons expire?

Discount coupons are valid for a specified period only. The date of expiry is specified on the coupon along with other details

Is there a limit on how many Gift vouchers I can use on a single order?

You can use any number of Gift Vouchers per order.

Shopping and Payment

Is it necessary to have a Kasturi-b account to shop?

While it is not necessary to have a Kasturi-b account to shop and purchase items, it is certainly recommended to have one. You can shop by providing just your email ID.

How do I make a payment for a Kasturi-b purchase?

Kasturi-b offers multiple methods to make payments for your order: Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, Bank Transfer and Cash on Delivery. All Credit/Debit card details remain confidential and private. Kasturi-b and our trusted payment gateways use SSL encryption technology to protect your card information.

What is Cash on Delivery?

**Cash-on-Delivery (COD) is an alternate method of purchasing from us. In the COD payment terms or COD service, you pay at the time of the actual delivery, rather than paying in advance. Please note that the courier person will give you the parcel only after he receives the cash payment. You cannot open the parcel before payment. In case of any concerns after opening the parcel, you can contact us on customercare@Kasturi-b.com. COD is not available on items with which stitching or any sort of customization is requested by the customer.

Are there any charges for a COD purchase?

There may be COD charges per product which will be communicated to you when you transact on Kasturi-b.com. We do not process COD orders for invoice value of more than Rs. 10,000. Placing a Cash-on-Delivery (COD) Order All the products are valid for order by Cash-on-Delivery, except for those where it is specifically written in the description "Cash on delivery is not available". Add the item(s) to your cart and proceed to checkout.

How do I pay using a Credit/Debit card and is it safe?

We accept all VISA, MasterCard both Indian and International. Customers will need to key in their 16-digit Credit/Debit Card number and the 3 digit CVV Code (Card Verification Value - found on the back of the card) and complete the payment flow.

All Credit/Debit card details remain confidential and private. Kasturi-b and our trusted payment gateways use SSL encryption technology to protect your card information.

I am asked by Courier Company to pay Octroi. What should I do?

Any applicable octroi will be payable by the customer. Please pay Octroi to the courier company if requested by them in these cities. Kasturi-b.com is not responsible for any octroi payments.

What is the customization option offered by Kasturi-b ?

Customized stitching is offered by Kasturi-b to enhance your shopping experience as well as provide you with "one stop shop" for all your wardrobe needs. Customization enables you to explore the latest fashion trends suiting to your particular body shape and dressing style. Customization option can be availed once the payment for a particular garment has been processed. You are required to submit your measurements through detailed measuring charts.

Please note if we have any clarifications in your measurements we would contact you by email or phone. Kindly respond back to us as soon as possible. We would not start processing the customization of your garment unless all the measurement clarifications are cleared. Delay in your response may delay the processing of your order. Please check your Junk mail folders incase if our emails fall in that accidently. To avoid getting our emails into your junk or spam folder please save our email id into your address book.

Order Status

How do I check the current status of my orders?

You can review the status and other information of all your orders, whether pending or fulfilled, that you have placed with Kasturi-b.com. To check the status of your pending orders, click on the "Sign In" link in the top right of any page on our store and Sign In to your account. This will take you to your Account page, where you can click on the "My Orders" link to view the status of all orders.  

To view the status of a specific order, click on the "Order Number". After your order is shipped out from our warehouse, we will send you a mail with the shipping details.

What do the different order status mean?
  • *Processing: We have received authorization from the payment gateway and are processing your order.
    1. For stitched clothes & accessories like dupattas and stoles processing is immediate
    2. For stitched clothes with minor alterations requested by the customer, the processing is within 24 hours from the time of order placed
    3. For unstitched clothes requiring stitching and customization , the processing begins post 24 hrs from the time of order placement
  • Shipped: Your order has been shipped out of our warehouse and is on its way to your delivery location.
  • Complete: Your order has been delivered at your specified delivery location.
  • Canceled: The order was canceled.

Packaging, Shipping and Delivery

How are items packaged?

All items are carefully packaged at our warehouses - as to avoid any form of damage. We ensure the package is water proof with plastic wrap.

What are the delivery charges?

Sellers provide free delivery on most items in India. Some items may have shipping depending on the nature of the product. For International orders, the shipping charges are different for different items and is mentioned clearly on the product page. Also prices may be different for different countries to account for shipping costs as sellers are free to set their prices and prices listed in INR are only for India.

What is the estimated delivery time?

The estimated time of delivery is within 4 working days for domestic orders and 21 working days for international orders. All orders get shipped within 1-3 working days from the warehouse.

How will the delivery be done?
  • We process all deliveries through reputed courier companies like First Flight and DTDC.
  • If there is no courier service available in your area, we will get in touch with you and try to work out a convenient alternate delivery location that is serviced by our courier partners.
Does Kasturi-b deliver internationally?

Kasturi-b does deliver items internationally. You are more than welcome to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world. We use DHL, DTDC and FEDEX to deliver your shipments safely and timely to you.

How can I track the delivery of my order?

All Kasturi-b items are delivered through reputed courier partners who will provide you with a Tracking ID for your order by which you can track your delivery on the respective websites of our courier partners. We email you the tracking number after we dispatch your order.
